H1B Visa Lawyer Blog Has Just Posted the Following:
Effective January 21, 2010, the Department of Labor's iCERT online system will be updated to allow the submission of electronic prevailing wage determination requests. This electronic process will allow Employers and/or their Designated Representatives to submit and obtain prevailing wage determinations (PWD) for use in the H-1B, H-1B1 (Chile/Singapore), H-1C, H-2B, E-3 (Australia), and permanent labor certification programs through the iCERT portal.
Until January 21, 2010, all prevailing wage determination requests must continue to be submitted by U.S. Mail or comparable physical delivery service to the Washington, D.C. address listed below.
BACKGROUND - On December 19, 2008, the Department published a Final Rule addressing the Labor Certification Process and Enforcement for Temporary Employment in Occupations Other Than Agriculture or Registered Nursing in the United States (H-2B Workers), and Other Technical Changes. The Final Rule implemented a federalized process for obtaining PWD requests for use in the H-2B temporary nonagricultural labor certification program directly from the Employment and Training Administration's (ETA) appropriate National Processing Center (NPC)--which was designated as the Chicago NPC.
Furthermore, effective as of January 1, 2010, the Final Rule also federalized PWD for use in the H-1B, H-1B1 (Chile/Singapore), H-1C, E-3 (Australia), and the permanent labor certification programs.

You could try to draw the C manually or use a pixel font that is better suited for the blocky look ;)
or no C at all...

hmmm. i tried using pixel fonts but they get so small you can't even see the c anymore ... too small a space. when i zoom in in looks great, but that's not the point. LOL

could i do anything to retain my L1 visa status?
my current H1 employer is least helpful.i am getting worried and would like to continue in L1 for few months until i get a suitable opportunity.pls tell me how i can do that.

Consular processing is requesting that the H-1 be approved and you will go to the consulate in your home country to pick up the visa and come back on a new H-1, in this situation, you are not requesting for a change of status when you file for a H-1. Your attorney will know how to file a consular processing case.

As long as you haven't used the EAD/AP for employment purposes, I think your H1 is still valid. If your H1 is still valid then I believe you can get your denpendant's H-4 extended based on our H1 validitiy. But I suggest to contact your company attorney to make sure your H1 is still valid.

haha..but i can't seem to find a suitable color scheme :P
um...looks gritty? u talking about the 'rays', rite? i made it by drawing the lines and then radial blurring it...i used the good quality, maybe i should use the best quality next time :)
i have made some changes, including removing the words in the upperleft..but i can't change the flare cos i don't want to do it again :smirk: (took quite awhile ;))

Gurus,
Today i received a mail(04/12/2009) .Uscis issued an RFE. I am still waiting for it in mail.
she is currently in india . coming back on 04/15/2009. will there be any problem for her while coming back. I am july 2007 filer on priority Date eb3 ( 04/23/2003). I have left my employer last year.My 140 was approved on feb 2007. what are my options.

How about working on an EAD in a part-time job while working full-time on your h1 sponsored job? I assume the h1 will not become invalid in this case because EAD is being used for the part time job.

I had a soft LUD on my+spouse 485 application today. I am current for this sept but will not be in Oct. Since there are no visa numbers available, I am guessing this must be either a potential RFE or my previous company lawyers may have withdrawn my G-28 representation
Does anyone know if before an RFE , would they or did they get a SOFT LUD, is this common?
Also if my previous attorney withdrew G-28 forms, will this also result in soft lud?

You can use your eb3 EAD.
But first to get into EB2 category, you have to first file another separate labor with a different employer (w/same employer it will most likely rejected) and then file 140 separately agian and then once your 140 is approved get it interfiled and then port from eb3 to eb2.
Thanks. I understand the chances are slim but I am willing to take the risk since My company has already gone through the recruitment process...Worst I still going to be on eb3...
Another question...By moving to a diferentt positon I am invoking AC21 even though it is in the same company...but at the same time I am filing for eb2 where job duties has to be atleast 50% different. This then violates ac21 rules so how come this is allowed. Most people convert from eb3 to eb2 using h1b but I am not sure if it is possible using ead

It is irrelevant whether you are in L1b/H1/F1/"Visitor Visa" or even outside the US.
If you have worked for the sponsoring employer outside the USA for 1 year within the last 3 years in an executive capacity - you can apply in EB1.
If you are not sure if your job qualified for "executive capacity" - then it probably didn't. But maybe you should still speak with your lawyer and double check.

Myself and my wife walked into the ASC today. The officer in the front mentioned "are you coming in early" we said yes and then he said u need to fill out the forms etc so we got it done today. I persume since the finger prints are scanned and notified to USCIS so I don't have to send to the service center
I am not sure whether a way to prepone it. You can try going for FP. They did not say anything about the future date.

Even i had two LUD on my 485. One on my fingerprints day other after two days of my fingerprints. Do some one know what that two LUD's?
I know one is for Fingerprints recived and what about other?

WRONG!!! What date did Fed Ex (or any carrier) leave ur pkg at the Service Center? That's when ur 6-month countdown begins.
